Bluetooth PAND (Personal Area Network) Howto For Debian Etch

Overview

I wanted to access the internet over bluetooth instead of GPRS/3G network from my mobile phone (SE K800i). After a lot of searching I couldn’t find a clear explanation as how to accomplish this. I did manage to set it up with Windows XP, using the “Personal Area Network” in the bluetooth utility and doing internet connection sharing. I’m going to continue demonstrating the application of the facade pattern, this time by developing yet another illustrative application. It will take care of processing the contents of a selected data file in different ways.

They start from scratch with the development of the sample script - creating a simple class that implements the pattern, then modifying it to work as a string processor and finally pulling them together to read the data for a file and echo out the processed results.

Google has won a bidding war to provide search services and advertising to MySpace.com, the social networking phenomenon, and other Web sites owned by the News Corporation.

The deal promises to pay the News Corporation a minimum of $900 million over three and half years, a handsome payoff for its aggressive strategy of Internet acquisitions under its chairman and chief executive, Rupert Murdoch.

“In one fell swoop, we have paid for two-thirds of our Internet acquisitions,” Peter Chernin, the company’s president, said in a conference call with investors and reporters yesterday.
